Ecco i giudizi dei 4 recensori di Famitsu:

No game has yet to achieve this level of emotional expression, period. This time around the standard cut-scenes will leave you as breathless as the CGs. This aspect alone is worth the cost of the game. The battle system is incredibly deep. You can't just call this game another sequel.
Kissy Ransan: 8
Obviously, this game presupposes that you played FFX. You're kept quite busy in battles and you can't really stop time, and some players may have a problem with that. Underneath the "dress up" system is a legitimately deep leveling system. The CGs are certainly worth watching once.
Okumura Kisuko: 8
If you intend to play the game with preconceptions about what a "Final Fantasy" game should be, it will be difficult to adjust with the tone/rhythm of the game. You shouldn't take the transformation scenes too seriously. Even if one can't help but notice Square's clever marketing idea of making girls the main characters, while playing, the main storyline is quite immersive. It's good to see how they made it so each player can experience his own story.
Haneda Ryushi: 9
Its opening has a lot of impact. During battles, instead of the cutscenes of the Aeons in FFX, the Dress Up scenes now are the "power" scenes. The battles keep you busy, but the post-battle music isn't the same anymore (i.e. no "Fanfare"). It's also good that there are quite a few branch roads.
