Ho spizzicato un po' il video e finalmente la conferma degli elementi da RPG che finora non si erano visti.
Lo prendo al lancio.

Ha le animazioni più favolose che abbia visto in un gioco action 3d
E, stando alla demo, il tempo di risposta è degno dei giochi platinum. Con, in aggiunta, la sculettosità di 2B.
Lo prenderei al day one se non fosse per Horizon prima e Persona 5 poi. Che se trovo l'offerta buona do dentro Horizon e mi piglio Nier, fangu'

One thing’s certain about Nier: Automata. This is a game surrounded by high expectation.

The first Nier might have flown under the radar of a lot of RPG fans at the time of its release in 2010, but its story, convincing characters, and otherworldly soundtrack has acquired a cult following over the years. Nier was a unique, emotionally-rich tale, and those who played it will surely remember its melancholic and ethereal atmosphere.

Following Nier’s level of emotional storytelling should be quite the challenge. The first game included a few narrative bombshells, some of them personally involving the player. For instance, after reaching the end of the game, the new game+ playthrough offered a whole new perspective on the story.. at a price. Now able to understand the language of and the circumstances their enemy suffers, the player realises their actions were far from virtuous. It packed an emotional punch that is hard to forget.

Director Yoko Taro is well known for his unusual and often dark storytelling. “Certainly the first game was very emotional,” he confides, “it was a very ‘wet’ kind of story. What I’m trying this time is a much more ‘dry’ approach, looking at the themes of the unfairness of the world and the harsh, prejudiced realities that these characters are facing.”

And Nier: Automata’s world does indeed seem unfair. In the same post-apocalyptic setting as the original Nier but thousands of years in the future, a war is waging between machines from another world and the remnants of humanity. 2B, the main protagonist, is an android, part of a unit force named YoRHa that is sent to Earth to help humanity reclaim the planet from the invaders.

This time too, players might want to go further than their first playthrough. “It’s a slightly different system this time around,” Taro explains. “But people who have only played through to the first ending of Nier: Automata have probably not even seen half of the story.”  [\b]

Spero sia una cosa simile a quella di Drakengard 3, dove in sostanza ci sono 4 finali che mostrano linee temporali divergenti, e quindi scorci sempre diversi sugli eventi precedenti.
La formula del primo Nier, sebbene non intollerabile, era comunque inferiore.

Bene così. Anche se Famitsu vuol dire ben poco. Specie con una waifu come 2B a calamitare le attenzioni di chiunque

Piu' che altro spero sia telegrafato in gioco, se ci sono finali alternativi, e come ottenerli.
Mi lascia sempre un po' perplesso dover andare a ricercare guide sull' internet, facendo attenzione agli spoiler, per avere accesso a tutto il contenuto in un gioco.
Posso concedere qualche easter egg, e magari un finale super segretissimo, ma conoscendo piu' o meno l' andazzo con lo Yoko Taro ciematic universe, mi auguro che la progressione sia abbastanza use friendly.

Io personalmente volevo ordinare la limited edition, quella con lo steelbook, visto che chiedere un manuale di istruzioni o semplicemente un libretto introduttivo al gioco è ormai chiedere troppo. Volevo consolarmi almeno con la confezione di latta. Pare che sia diventata introvabile, andata esaurita ovunque.
Magari vuol dire che i preordini stanno andando bene, dopotutto...
Sicuramente farà meglio del primo Nier, al tempo era un jrpg tra i tanti titoli che uscivano a profusione dell'era 360, ora con la moria di giochi di un certo valore produttivo lo noteranno sicuramente in molti di più rispetto al passato.

Saito Producer just mentioned Steam version on the Dengeki stream.

He said they are working on it, but they have to do something about the pirating issue, and because of recent certain game being broken (I assume he is mentioning RE7 issue but I am not 100% sure) they have to do something about it. He said it won't take long so please wait for it.


Vabè, per quando si decideranno a farlo uscire ai picciisti sarà passata pure la voglia, ed i piratozzi non lo compreranno a prescindere, quindi...

Al mondo escono troppi giochi e ho troppo backlog per poter/voler giocare quattro volte lo stesso gioco.

Appena inizia la primavera (cioé, appena posso permettermi di passare notti insonni) rigioco TW3. L'unico che al momento mi solletichi per davvero
