Un po' di roba da RPGFan:
"The upcoming DS title,
Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem ~Hero of Light and Shadow~, which was announced last week, will not be starring series hero Marth. Instead, the game will feature a new, customizable protagonist, called "My Unit". The player will be able to tailor their character's name, gender, hair, face, eyes, and unit type. Interactions with other characters will vary based on the selections made during character creation.
Furthermore, the custom "My Unit" character will take center stage in at least two brand-new story segments. The first story, entitled "Prologue", will explain how the character joins the Altea Army and becomes Marth's stalwart ally. There will also be at least one "side story" that takes place on a brand-new map. Because access to this new content is based on fulfilling certain criteria during other missions, it is currently unclear whether there will be many of these side stories or just one.
Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem ~Hero of Light and Dark~ is slated for a July 15 release in Japan. No North American release information is available at this time."
"The release date has been leaked for upcoming PSP title
Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X by online retailer Gamestar. The game will be hitting Japanese retailers on August 5, carrying a ¥5,480 ($59.18 US) price tag. This is the second time in recent memory that Gamestar has spoiled a release date, the first being when the retailer leaked the release date for White Knight Chronicles 2 ahead of Famitsu magazine.
The game itself is a two-part package, comprised of a remake of the series' first iteration, Tales of Phantasia, and an updated version of Narikiri Dungeon. In this version of Phantasia, casting spells in battle will no longer cause the action to freeze, meaning that multiple characters will be able to use Artes simultaneously. In addition, characters will be able to backstep, link up to three attacks together, and perform combos with other characters via predefined shortcuts. To compensate, the pace of battle has been accelerated.
There are still no plans for a North American release of Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X."
Ecco, rigiocare Phantasia con tutte quelle aggiunte mi piacerebbe davvero. Tanto in america non arriva.
"A recent column on developer Mistwalker's blog has indicated that the upcoming Wii RPG The Last Story is entering "extended development". Director Hironobu Sakaguchi wrote:
"The development of
The Last Story is at its climax. It's taking longer than I thought. After seeking the new style, I could see many directions of how to strengthen the balance adjustment and system in detail; moreover I would like to try them at some degree. However, just a little bit longer. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I step on the gas quietly and calmly."
Some additional details about the game's main characters also surfaced recently. The male protagonist, named Elza, is a lowly mercenary who dreams of becoming a respected knight. Little is known about the heroine, Kanan, but her regal attire suggests a noble heritage.
Elza possesses a mysterious power known only as "Gathering". After obtaining the power early on in the game, Elza can radiate blue light from his arm to draw the attention of monsters in battle. The primary use for this ability is to enable his allies to cast spells without interruption.
No official release date has been announced for The Last Story in any territory"
"XSEED is already showing their devotion to upholding Falcom's legacy by announcing a deluxe collector's edition for upcoming PSP title
Ys SEVEN. The package, which is set to retail at $49.99 ($20 more than the standard edition), will include a 12.5" by 34" cloth map, a soundtrack CD with over 20 songs, and a 60-page artbook with illustrations from all three upcoming Ys titles to be published by XSEED.
To drum up excitement for Ys SEVEN, XSEED is also holding a contest over at the official Ys Series Facebook Page. By simply becoming a fan of the page, entrants have a chance to get their name immortalized as a quest-giving NPC in the North American version of the game.
Ys SEVEN is currently schedule to release later this summer. Online retailer Amazon has the game listed with a release date of August 31, though it is unconfirmed at this time."
