ma questa è musica.
mbè, tutta la vita è musica, delle volte splendida splendente, altre volte rivoltante come britney spears.
Ci ho messo un po' a capirla, ma dopo che è passata sotto la cute non la si leva più dal lettore.
Ho preso "Politics" quindi non ho ancora risentito uno dei pezzi con cui l'ho conosciuto anche io, poichè ne fecero un assurdo videoclip.
Acquistato completamente a caso questo album, è stata una botta di fortuna trovarlo  e vedrò di recuperare presto il resto dei suoi lavori.

Veniamo al genio, Patrick Wolf, una delle migliori scoperte degli ultimi anni. Per farvi capire, gli stacchetti di RingCast sono roba sua. Ha fatto 3 album Lycanthropy, Wind In The Wires e The Magic Position. Il primo e il terzo sono prevalentemente elettronici, e mi piacciono un casino. Il secondo è acustico e mi annoia, ma a molti piace.
Difficile descriverlo, se lo vedete in video capite subito il personaggio. Fatto sta che musicalmente è IMHO un genio, suona nuovo, fresco e dannatamente ispirato. Vi linko alcune cose belle.

Perfettamente d'accordo!
L'ho scoperto con l'uscita di the magic position e l'ho amato subito!
Accident and emergency e' il pezzo che piu' ho ascoltato da mesi a questa parte ma tutto l'album e' fantastico(uno dei pochi,ormai che ho comprato)Consigliato a tutti!

Sto ascoltando l'ultimo (Boxer), stranamente non ancora su Last.FM fra la lista dei loro album, ed è FENOMENALE.

Assomigliano un po' agli Editors del primo album (quello bello ^__^), ma più rilassati. Degli album prima non so niente, ma mi informerò.

Li ho scoperti perchè una loro canzone, "The funeral", è nella soundtrack di Skate. Mosso da questo, ho ascoltato entrambi i loro due album e l'esito è stato scoprire che solo quella canzone è bella ed il resto fa schifo  :lol:

Anche i The Shins hanno lo stesso problema: una canzone immensa (New Slang), due o tre belle, tutto il resto merda. Ma anche una sola canzone li farà ricordare.
