Sorry for the late reply, here's most of what i remember from seeing the developer walk through on Tuesday.
Apologies if some of this may be vaque or contradictory to other previews, it was almost a week ago, I didn't take notes, and this was the very first thing I saw at the show.
- The customized weapons were pretty awesome. Flaming sword, some kinda staff w/ blades all over it, and a grenade launcher kinda weapon that was just decimating groups of zombies. Looks like they got this part right in some respects. Plus he was tossing a weapon into a zombies chest, fighting off a few others, then running over to that zombie to get it back.
- Great explosions, fire, and smoke effects
- If I was understanding correctly, when you want to make a custom weapon - it shows you exactly where to get the items for it on the map. I don't know what the requirements are for displaying this, but they did it right from the start.
- You can spend a skill point to automatically get a weapon you might need to create a custom one. A weapon suddenly appearing in your inventory sort of took me out of the experience. Like you're already telling me where to get the weapons why would I need this?
- Hundreds of zombies. My face basically made a "holy shit' expression during some parts. There were a shit ton of them, everywhere. Made some areas look impossible to get through on foot.
- Character upgrades. Looks like there will be a lot of focus on this. After leveling up, they showed a bunch of categories to add points to, but honestly I forgot what they were. Seemed like the usual stuff. Didn't look like a branching skill tree though.
- Seems like there will be a lot of vehicular stuff. This may be necessary since it looked like the map was gigantic. But he went into a garage and had like 3-4 to choose from, plus the main character is a mechanic so I'm guessing there's a bigger emphasis on this.
- He drove a car into a gas station, jumped out and kabooom. Sure it dropped to a few fps but it was still cool.
- Create weapons anywhere. No more work bench. You have to create them during the game so I guess you can be attacked while the meter is filling
- The framerate was abysmal. I'm hoping this gets addressed as I've seen it happen w/ plenty of E3 builds. But man, it was really bad. It was constantly struggling to stay at 30. When he panned the camera to show the amount of zombies, it was 15-20 at some points.
- It's missing that trademark whacky japanese humor. I guess you know it when you see it, but this seemed to have none of it. They did show off him running around in a rhino mascot type suit, and a dress - but it just wasn't hitting me. They did pan past a kobun helmet though.
- Magazines are in, unfortunately I forgot what was new about them.
- The character seems super bland. I still don't know why Frank West isn't the main character in every Dead Rising. Taking pictures was awesome.
- The smartglass integration had me groaning. Hopefully there's another way to drop airstrikes, but they did seem a little cheap (but looked awesome)
- Looked like a much bigger focus on outdoors, though he was going inside plenty of shops and even in the sewers. But honestly it felt like a typical open world map which I wasn't crazy about.
- There was a side mission where you had to rescue a friend in distress. The guy seemed to be hiding the whole time, once all of the zombies were gone he popped up, said thanks, and ran off.
Most of what bummed me out is that it just seems like a generic zombie game with some ideas from Dead Rising. This probably would've been the game to get me to buy an xbox one, but I left the zombie tent disappointed.
I hope it turns out well and sells since I love Capcom, but at the same time I hope it bombs because I love Capcom and wish they would stop with this bullshit. They already screwed up Resident Evil, I'd hate to see another one of their franchises go south.
Hope this helps! If I remember anything else I'll be sure to post.
Ti sei perso i primi 2 Dead Rising...
Ptu', ptu', io ci SPUTO!

Zombi 3 merda, Zombi 2 capolavoro.
Filmone + zombi podisti = straCult!
Comunque sto ancora aspettando che vada in offerta State of Decay...

:cry:e no
Puristi magari :D

L'apocalisse zombie!

Ogni giorno, nei topic next gen!
What native resolution is Dead Rising 3?
Josh Bridge: 720p. And I'm really happy with that, with the sheer amount of stuff we have in an open world game locked at 30fps, that's just brilliant. Of course our UI (user interface) runs at 1080 native on top, but no, we're a 720p game locked at 30fps.
Did you ever want 1080p native?
Josh Bridge: It was not really something we actually set as a mantra. When we first started there was no platform, it was PC and we were just targeting next-gen, and 1080, even before then we thought it'd be prohibitive to even consider that, because essentially you have to do everything twice, which is just massive when you think of it. It's more important that the end image looks awesome - look at how much stuff is on screen, that's always been a Dead Rising sort of brand. That still looks really good, and that's been our goal. I hope it shows - just look at how much insane stuff is going on screen.
How hard has it been getting to 720/30 on Xbox One?
Josh Bridge: It's been... Outside of infancy - every new platform launch, I've now learnt - it's always infancy on tools, and that's the back and forth with tools improving. It's very similar to a PC development environment, so that's been really cool. Happy to not be cross-platform, to be honest - it's a huge challenge for a game like ours. We have to do very specific things with memory allocation and drivers to get our stuff running, and in the past it was like wow, it made our teams quite a bit larger having multiple leads.
Errr.
Our captures show the game upscaled to 1080p by the Xbox One - with results that are expectedly unkind to thin objects and flickering alpha elements like trees or fence-work. It's a bit of a disappointment in this sense, and continues to dangle a question mark over the capabilities of the console's hotly contested specs when it comes to titles striving for full HD
Accepting that some compromises go with the territory of developing a launch title, the question remains: has this technical trade-off been well-judged? Certainly, the zombie horde looks impressive in its increased numbers, and the boost here means the game's core appeal - the flourishes of fantastical violence - are ratcheted up another notch. The pop-in has also thankfully been reduced since the game's E3 appearance, though textures still visibly stream in after covering ground too quickly in vehicles. Object pop-in is mitigated through the use of a somewhat curious non-alpha fade-in technique, a visual quirk that has the polygonal structure of items like cones and fences fill out as our protagonist Nick Ramos walks forward. This gives a fizzling effect to weapons and vehicles too as they're summoned into the game world via the crafting system.
With all its rough edges, Dead Rising 3's intended impact as a next-gen title is clearly dulled, but there's enough here to show early Xbox One adopters a side of the zombie-slaying experience that couldn't be achieved on current-gen hardware. The zombie count and overall world size are impressive - amplified to a previously unheard volume where interplay with vehicles ties in appropriately with this shift in scale. However, the fact remains that the game's original brief as an Xbox 360 title is still very much felt in other areas; the pared-back alpha, texture streaming issues and jagged 720p presentation giving the impression that the series' potential is still somehow being bounded.
It's also unfortunate that the game runs at far from the promised locked 30fps - rather a chugging 20fps during the zombie action while out in the big city. Compared to the shaky E3 build seen just months ago this is still a respectable step forward, and of course many of the game's technical shortcomings come with the unique circumstances of meeting a hardware launch. All this amounts to an intriguing first attempt, then, but needless to say we're eager to see how Capcom Vancouver follows up on its sandbox survival-horror formula when it's given more breathing room with the deadline, more experience with the hardware, and factoring in the next-gen platform's strengths from the very start.

13GB update for Dead Rising 3 (http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=754541)
According to reports coming out from official Dead Rising 3 forums and Reddit, this 13GB update is only for FIRST part of FOUR part DLC that is due for release.
Furthermore, Gamers are also reporting that the 13GB patch does not adds up with overall game size
"only on xboxone" :scared:Dead Rising 3 "definitely isn't a timed exclusive" for Xbox One, says Capcom (http://www.totalxbox.com/60879/dead-rising-3-definitely-isnt-a-timed-exclusive-for-xbox-one-says-capcom/)
L'ho trovato a 19 bombe...
It's the software, baby
Senza file biricchino (60fps), funziona liscio liscio a 30fps.

Lasciatemi scannare senza pensieri.
