So now our next step is, let’s improve the art pipeline, let’s improve the engine, let’s improve workflow for artists, let’s grow on the art side some more to handle our next project because it’s a bit bigger. And our next focus is, all right, let’s work on design and add new stuff to get to the next remake, because now that can be our sole focus of making sure that’s where we put the time and everybody else, they’re already at a level where we can perform.
Si parla, ovviamente, di potenziare le capacità del team nell'ambito dell'engine grafico e degli aspetti artistici/estetici. Però, sembrerebbe che vogliano anche cimentarsi nel game design per aggiungere "roba" al gioco originale. Questo potrebbe lasciare in piedi l'ipotesi di un possibile remake da PSO.
Nell'ambito Konami, prima ancora di MGS - che come serie in questa gen è comunque ben rappresentata -, vedrei bene il primissimo Silent Hill. Valore emozionale altissimo, potenziamento della componente artistica centrale nell'esperienza (come in SOTC, l'estetica 'racconta'), ambizioso, anche, ché ricreare il gioco in grafica moderna è un bel mazzo (considerato pure che nel primo, come nel terzo, ci sono tre livelli di 'realtà' diversi) e strategicamente sarebbe un colpaccio, dato che dopo l'affaire PT sono usciti e continuano a uscire frotte di PTwannabe indie e una risposta 'ufficiale' rimane attesa.
