Mizuguchi: In my mind, yes. But I won't use the Rez name because that belongs to Sega.


The companies are very conservative, and they're not having good sales, which just makes them more conservative--it's a vicious cycle. That conservative mindset was the biggest reason that I left Sega.


Japanese companies don't have the ability to communicate with foreign markets in the US, Europe or Asia--or at least, that ability is much weaker than it's been in the past.


In the near future, we're going to be in a world where the question is "is it interactive or non-interactive?" When someone asks you what kind of work you do, you're going to say "I'm in interactive," or if you do something like making movies, people will say, "Oh, non-interactive, huh? That's kind of rare these days." I feel like the people that make movies and music put them in a box and say "Go ahead and look, but don't touch." But people that make games are giving you a button and telling you "push it." If you can't touch something and have it respond, it's not fun.

Sto pensando ad un Rez trapiantato su console portatile....
Quanto potra' essere penalizzato il valore globale di un titolo del genere che si basa su un devastante impatto audio-visivo?
Quest'ultimo sara' sicuramente sacrificato rispetto ad una console casalinga.
Senza contare la mancanza di un controller che vibra come un frullatore nelle mani del giocatore...
