Mi è piaciuta questa interpretazione, però mi sfugge una cosa, ovvero Bad Cooper non sa chi è Judy, lo chiede a Philip Jeffries "who is Judy?" però è anche vero che potrebbe conoscerla con un nome diverso.
"Clearly, Judy is the Mother of all Evil, aka the Experiment, i.e. the embodiment of the concept of Evil itself. When the Trinity Test happens, humanity reaches a turning point in its history, and Judy generates BOB, a new "vehicle" of Evil to bring more darkness to our world. The Black Lodge is where Evil dwells, a hell-like world where Judy reigns in a hierarchical "society", where there are many kinds of "level" of evilness, many kinds of different "demons", like Mike and BOB. But, you know, in this word of evil, it is pretty normal that, sooner or later, someone will try to conquer the source of Evil itself, defeat Judy and become the most powerfull entity. Like the christian myth of God and the fallen angels. So, BOB is like a "minor demon" who wants to become what Judy is, and the Woodsmen are his legion of "fallen angels". Thats why BOB doesn't live in the Black Lodge but in the convenience store, and thats why he absolutely doesn't want to get back to the Lodge. Because he is a rebel, and the Black Lodge itself wants to defeat him for good, through the actions of Mike. This explains why Mike is not 100% cooperating with Coop, because they have different goals. [Clearly, also the White Lodge wants to defeat him, but this is a different story]. First, in the form of Leland, BOB kills the first obstacle: Laura. Then, in Cooper aka Mr.C. body, he starts his true mission: find Judy. So he starts the experiment of the glass box in NY, looks for the coordinates, etc.
Now, if you do some research, you will discover that Lynch and Frost have a very particular cultural background: eastern philosophy, theosophy, etc. This creeds have lot in common, but especially the idea of a monistic world. So, the difference and the dualism of Black/White Lodge, Evil and Good, is in my opinion only formal: Black and White Lodge are just different manifestation of the same original "force" which is the basis of all existence. In fact, in season 2, Hawk explains that the Black Lodge is just the "shadow-self" of the White Lodge. If you think about Dale Cooper in season 3, it is almost the same: we have an evil Cooper and a good Cooper. They are diametrically opposed on the surface, but their acting follows the same end: find Judy/the Mother of all Evil and destroy her. Mr.C, the Evil, because he wants to replace her and become the most powerfull evil entity (a bad acting); Agent Cooper, the Good, because he wants to get rid of evil in the world [I suppose, acting in behalf of the White Lodge] (a good acting).
Do they succeed? Nope. Mr.C. is fooled by the Giant and is destroyed by Freddie. Agent Cooper cannot save Laura and cannot bring her to Judy at all [aka Sarah Palmer], to defeat her [fulfulling the Giant's will, who created Laura for this goal in the first place] . Why? Because this is how our world works, nothing can be changed for good. The simbol representing Judy is turned by Jeffries into the simbol of infinity, an eternal loop that cannot be escaped, or changed. Is this future or is this past? There is no resolution, there is no final explanation [Jiao dai]. This is the nature of existence."
