Player is a thinblood at first, later on you can choose a clan
No quest markers
First-person with contextual third-person actions just like Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Mankind Divided.
Fan-favourite characters from Bloodlines returning
You can use telekenesis, turn into mist to go through vents and glide
You can scale buildings, there's an emphasis on verticality
Way more dialogue than Bloodlines
Huge emphasis on character creation. You can choose your background, gender pronoun, employment history, body type and fashion
“We’re interested in providing a very robust roleplaying experience for the player with something were they can really identify with their character by fine tuning and providing lots of options for them to do that,” says Rachel Leiker, UX/UI designer at Hardsuit Labs.
Loads of secrets and hidden pathways to find
Seattle as a hub world is described as "very active", crowds gather outside clubs and muggers prey on victims in side allies, all seamlessly done.
Main side-questline involves hunting down and finding all the other thinblood created from the Mass Embrace, each will have their own story about entering into their new life e.g you might find a married thinblood struggling to deal with their newfound powers
Blood resonance from VtM 5th edition will appear in this game. Using your enhanced vampire senses, you can see when NPCs are experiencing an intense emotion like fear, desire, pain, joy and anger. Humans give off a bright aura. Drinking a person with a strong resonance will give you an immediate bonus to things like melee power or seduction. If you drink a particular resonance constantly, you will acquire a taste for it and this will give you permanent buffs called "merits".
“You might determine as a player that you want to focus on this resonance, or these two. That’s going to drive your hunting experience in the hub, and what types of people you’re looking for,” he said. “It’s important for us to make sure that the player can express themselves in a way that is consistent with who they are as a player, both in gameplay and in customisation.”
If you continuously suck on people's blood in full view of the public, they'll be less wary of going to those areas and you'll see less citizens wandering the streets (!!)
Game has modding support
Emphasis on fluid combat, using vampiric speed to slide in and out of melee range and slash people and execute them with melee weapons. You can get special cinematic finishers in combat when you execute people a la Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Counters are in. Guns exist and are treated as temporary opportunities, you pick em up, use it, then discard it and move on.

Mi interessa molto l'ambientazione e la narrazione a cui si ispira il gioco.

Il gioco inizialmente era abbastanza grezzo nelle animazioni e afflitto da un pò di bug e glitch vari, nè aveva un combat particolarmente valido.Era un po'grezzo perché usava l'engine source prima che uscisse half Life 2 quindi hanno avuto qualche problema. Però era un gioco della Madonna. Non so se mi piace la prima persona
Eppure da un punto di vista di dialoghi, atmosfera, bivi narrativi, libertà del giocatore in base alla build scelta e in generale 'carisma' era un gioco eccezionale, di quelli che anche la più apparentemente insignificante delle subquests si rivelava enormemente interessante.
Qui l'unico dubbio è che i developers non son gli stessi del primo, spero dunque lavorino bene (e le info trapelate fanno ben sperate).

E pure un altro tizio di Hardsuit labs.
"Differenze creative", a sto punto del progetto? Doveva uscire quest'anno prima del ritardo e il lavoro di Mitsoda, a sentire lui, era bello che finito.
All hope is lost, direi. Qualcosa di brutale è andato storto, non so se il focus test ha dato esito terribilmente negativo, e Paradox (il publisher) è andato nel panico. A rimpiazzare Mitsoda (il writer del primo VTMB) han preso uno che ha Asscreed e Far Cry nel proprio palmares....

As you have noticed, we’ve been keeping pretty quiet for a while. With this in mind, the first piece of news we have for you is to confirm that Bloodlines 2 is still in development.
Secondly, we have made the hard decision that Hardsuit Labs will no longer be leading the development of Bloodlines 2 - which also means that we will not be releasing in 2021 as previously planned. Since we cannot at this time communicate a new release date, we've also decided to stop accepting pre-orders for the time being.
This game is very important to us and it has been an ambitious project from the very start. In order to meet our goals for it, we’ve come to the conclusion that a change is needed and, as a result, more development time is required.
We’d like to take this opportunity to honor Hardsuit Labs for their efforts and thank them for their hard work on the project. The studio has done a tremendous job in laying the foundations for the game and we hope that you, the community, will also appreciate their contribution to Bloodlines 2.
We’re thankful for your continuous support throughout the game’s development. We understand how important this is to you, and we’d love to share more with you. As soon as we can, we’ll let you know what the future development team of Bloodlines 2 will look like.
