TELEVISIONE: EMMY 2006 PREMIA "THE OFFICE" E "24"
"The Office" e "24" si sono aggiudicati il massimo riconoscimento nella cinquantottesima edizione degli Emmy Awards, quello riservato al Primetime, la sezione piu' prestigiosa insieme con Daytime. I premi sono dedicati alla produzione televisiva americana, soprattutto nel settore dell'intrattenimento. Erano cinque anni che la Fox si aspettava il premio per "24", cosi' come il suo attore protagonista, Kiefer Sutherland, anche lui con cinque nomination alle spalle, e questa volta l'ha spuntata. Nella sezione migliore serie comica, "The Office" (Nbc) ha avuto la meglio su "Ti presento i miei... "(Fox), "Curb Your Enthusiasm" (Hbo), "Scrubs" (Nbc) e "Due uomini e mezzo" (Cbs). Nella sezione migliore serie drammatica "24" ha battuto "Greys Anatomy" (Abc), "Dr House - Medical Division" (Fox), "I Soprano" (Hbo) e "West Wing" Nbc).

incuriosito dal vincitore dell'emmy per la commedia, faccio qualche ricerca. esce fuori che questo the office è un remake americano di un serial inglese del 2001-2002, anche questo vincitore di svariati premi (2 golden globe a un'altra 20na di riconoscimenti sfusi).
ora, la domanda (oziosa) è: che bisogno avranno avuto gli amerregani di adattarlo?

Probabilmente l'adattamento è stato necessario (o comunque voluto) per questioni culturali, vedi satira su costumi sociali o cose del genere. Anche perché gli americani sono abbastanza schizzinosi verso film e produzioni estere, vedi il fatto che i film stranieri devono essere rifatti per avere speranza di essere cagati da più di 5 persone.

guarda, e' la stessa domanda che mi sono posto io seguendo tempo fa Coupling su mtv e scoprendo che era un remake di una serie tv inglese di qualche anno prima :shock:

chiaro. più che oziosa diciamo pure che era retorica la domanda: in realtà volevo andare ot e discutere proprio di questo.
insomma, è una sit-com: noi ce le beviamo regolarmente, quelle americane, e passano pure per il doppiaggio. possibile che 'sti bambinoni non ce la facciano a capire qualcosa che non abbia delle coordinate usa?

Avendola vista solo recentemento commento solo adesso: non sono per nulla d'accordo!!!
Tralasciando la superlativa quinta stagione di The Shield e la sesta dei Soprano (che non ho visto) tra le serie più commerciali la seconda di Lost e la seconda di Battlestar Galactica stracciano la quinta di 24, la prima di Prison Break e la prima di The Unit sono più o meno a quei livelli.
Cavoli per me la quinta di 24 seppur buona è la peggiore delle cinque stagioni finora trasmesse. Innanzitutto riutilizza una tonellata di espedienti già visti ma soprattutto è pesantemente minata da un colpo di scena forzatissimo che a mio avviso ne rovina tutta l'ultima parte.
